I have recently passed the Nursing RN Boards and am looking for a job, however I did not work during nursing school. Most jobs available require at least 1 to 2 years of on the job experience. I'm seriously considering working with an assisted living facility, but I'm worried that the experience will hinder my chances of working in a hospital. I welcome any advice.

I go to work terrified that I am going to see something I do [...]

My story starts out differently than most I would think but ultimately they all end the same, getting caught and being humiliated. I always had a way of self medicating to make me feel normal. I had a loving yet difficult childhood and I never liked to show emotion or tell my true feelings. I have always wanted to be a nurse [...]

Hello everyone,
