I graduated in May of 2004... \"Life\" happened and I didn\'t take the boards. I have been working in the administrative field but nursing is my passion. I find myself wondering is it too late to try and take the exam, and where do I start with studing. I took a refersher course, which was some help as far as how approach the exam...but what I really need is some content review. My friends and family all say just take the exam... Eaier said than done... Any thoughts?

hi delia, i was like you too, i graduated in 2004 but stayed in my administrative job till 2007. When i decided i wanted to go back to nursing, i took out 3 months and did an intensive online nclex review with Kaplan. About a week after the review, I took the nclex exam and passed. I agree that you should do some type of content review on nclex before taking the exam, it really helped me.

I am in the same predicament. I graduated in December 2003 and took boards once. I was pregnant and very sick and left the testing center before I finished. I’ve been procrastinating. I have been working in social services but my passion is nursing. I really need to try another refresher class, especially a content review. I wish you luck with yours!!
