I failed out of nsg school in 5th level after failing the limit of classes, I repeated 4th level and then failed community health in 5th level and got dismissed from the nsg school program. I'm just wondering if any one had any ideas about what I could do? I'm thinking about writing a formal letter to the Dean and asking if I could be awarded with an ASN degree since I completed the 4 levels of BSN nsg school that are compareable to that of The ASN program......... Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Even though it looks the same, 4 levels of a BSN program are NOT equal to an ADN/ASN program. I’m sorry. You can try an ADN/ASN program though. It depends on what your problem areas were though. If it’s primarly the scholarly writing part, an ADN/ASN program would probably work for you.

Why not do the LPN first? It’s a lot more hands on and a lot less theory. Then go for the ADN. Many do, even right from one to the other.
Another thing is to sit and take stock of why you did not pass. Did you need tutoring? Is it a learning style issue?

How are they not equal, we sit for the same state boards, the only difference in the BSN is a 5th level consists of preceptorship and 2 theory classes 1st is leadership which I passes and the 2nd is community health which I did not pass!!!
