Could anyone tell me about their experiences with NWTW for nursing students, or the Peace corps for those who have finished an RN program?
I am thinking about doing a months work for NWTW, but I have heard from others that you just do grunt work for them, and don't learn anything technical, such as setting up IV drips, giving inoculations or doing suctioning. I would hate to go to all that travel expense and be a cleaner or dishwasher for a month.
Is it safe? What about the peace corps? Are the situations and equipment modern enough that such work would look good on your resume?
