I am a BSN Graduate, but I got in trouble last February (2012) for shoplifting. I got arrested and fingerprinted and I got an Alternative Prosecution Program to do in a class. I finished it last September and got a Certificate. My petty theft charge was dismissed. I know that I made a big mistake in my life and learned from it. I am trying to move on but I realized that it's very hard to find a nursing job with the arrest record. I want to gather all my documents to apply for my Authorization To Test (ATT). Is it possible that the Board on Nursing will give me an ATT to get my nursing license? Thanks you! All the advice will be appreciated:)
