A nursing student was taking care of an infant in the NICU that required an IV to be placed. Wanting to be helpful, the student rushed about to set up the needed supplies for the nurse. The student eagerly observed as the catheter was placed in the infant's forehead. After the nurse was done, she held up the tourniquet and asked the student, "What was I supposed to do with this?"
