Be honest and say “im getting burnt out” you cant be expected to pick up extra hours every week. Just say no! dont be afraid. if you dont speak up for yourself noone else will! so speak up!
First of all don’t answer your phone when work calls, and wait for a voicemail to see what it is concerning. That way, if they calling for extra hours you don’t have to call back.
They will use you all up and ruin your health if you let them! You have to protect yourself FIRST….that’s your priority, not theirs. Remember that it’s their job to staff the place with a warm body and that is their only concern.
