Very “right on”….most times as of late I feel the rules/Regs are really in the way of what I went into nursing for and that is caring for the pt and families,not forms and computer work!!
they used to tell us not to be demeaning to the patients “the hip” in 36 or “the pneumonia” in 42… but to call them Mr smith or miss jones.
now we aren’t supposed to call them by their names when discussing them where someone could hear either…

I’m in nursing school right now and I know my professors and fellow students would LOVE this cartoon. We’re all fed up with hearing about HIPAA..

I showed this to our entire Health District and the room roared with laughter. Thought you may like to know. 🙂
