Aggravated DUI with a Class 6 Open Felony
Hi I am thinking about going to school for nursing and i was convicted last year with a Aggravated DUI. It is on my record as a Class 6 open Felony that will drop down to a misdemeanor in July. Will i still be able to become a nurse with this on my record?

Good advice from the above. I would also look into the process of expungement after it drops down to a misdemeanor, but that would usually take a few years.
I would consult a Nurse Attorney on the issue. Most nursing boards take things like this on a case-by-case basis, and you’ll need better advice than you’d get on an internet forum.
