I'm taking the Maryland NCLEX-RN on Tuesday. I have been taking tons of practice tests and have read the Kaplan NCLEX-RN review book.Does anybody have any other tips?? I'm trying not to freak out!
1. Study a few hours every day, but don’t study for more than 30-45 minutes at a crack.
2. Those practice tests seem to help more than the book, but use the book, too.
3. RELAX! Sit in a hot tub, get a massage, enjoy the only time in your life when pretty much everyone you know gets how stressed out you are, and may leave you alone. Pamper yourself a little. You made it through school, you deserve it…now go study.
I am taking the nclex end of next week and I am having a hard time with the meds!! I am frustrated how to remember. I tried learning classes. I am doing approx 300 questions a day and I have done a review course. I am spending hours in the office. When do I say when?

Get some rest! Eat right and drink plenty of fluids. BREATHE!!! Deeps breaths.
Remember that physical needs trump psychosocial needs.
Read the questions slowly.
Look for trick words and make sure it’s not a question like “all of these are correct EXCEPT”. Be sure you don’t misread the question.
Reason things out.
Good luck! You’ll do just fine!!!!!
