I am 49 years old and have always dreamed of being a registered nurse. I have worked in the medical field for over 19 years as a medical office manager. I have taken all the pre-req's but in my area it is extremely hard to get in to the nursing program itself. I know people who have been on waiting lists around my Tri-state area for as long as two years. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
