Yes you can get back in to another program, but you may have to take some of the courses over again to pull up your GPA. Just talk to the nursing instructors at the school and ask them what the requirements are to get back in. I know how you feel. I failed twice as well. It is really upsetting I know, but don’t give up on your dreams. Good Luck!

Contact “PRIVATE” nursing schools that are accredited. Try NEW (accredited) programs, they are more flexible. Be prepared…You are going to have to tell them what you are going to do different to make it happen this time though.

DON’T GIVE UP! SO MANY OF US HAVE GONE THROUGH THAT! I too was dismissed, but because of a technicality, I was able to transfer to another school. It was not easy though. I applied at many schools in my state. As another commenter states, you may have to retake some classes. But, so what? You’ll be in the race again and you’ll be stronger. I don’t know how old you are, but if you’re young, it’s ok- you’ve got time on your side. Above all, don’t let anyone make you feel like you are less for having been dismissed. If you’re smart, you’ll choose to learn from this experience and you will be all the stronger for it.
Best of luck and keep on persevering!

I know one private University, University of Southern Nevada, which is an 18 month BSN program. It’s located in Southern Nevada and it is pretty easy to get into. I’ve heard of other students who have failed from a different nursing program, got into this school and are now graduates. Good luck!
