I was just reading someone’s comment earlier and they said that male nurses get paid more than women. This really surprised me, as it certainly doesn’t work this way where I come from in New Zealand. Has anybody out there come across this?

That is definently not true in the area that I work (Indiana) and I also don’t think its even legal.

wow, i’ve never heard that before, but i’ll keep an eye out for that kind of info. i think i would throw a mutiny if that ever happened.

I’ve heard that in general, men get paid more than women even if they are working the same job, so I guess this could be true with nursing as well.
