Name: Jennifer Wiltshire

I am a new RN that graduated in May with my ADN. I have been on orientation for 3 months and have just come off. I work in a rural hospital. I have no preceptor anymore and I am expected to manage at the same level as a seasoned RN. I am struggling with extreme frustration and fear for my license and the patients that I am caring for.

I have looked at nurse residency programs and would have loved to have been part of one, however the closest one to me is 100 miles away.

Is there any support out there for new rural nurse support to help me gain a solid foundation?
