I know some people who think that it doesn't matter what sex you are, because we are all nurses doing the same job. What do you think? I'm curious, as in my last post, if male and female nurses do the same things; someone wrote that we are nurses first, before gender.

I have been waiting to come and work in U.S.A. since 2006 April.

I can't come there because of retrogression. I would like to ask a question to fellow RNs' those who are already there, whether there is anthing which you all could do to pass a bill to end retrogression so that many of the RNs those who are waiting for a green card can [...]

Can you remember your last good moment at work? A time or incident when something truly amazing happened? I find it too easy to remember the bad things that happen, while I often struggle to remember the good things that happen in the hospital environment. But the good does outweigh the bad, otherwise I wouldn’t still be a nurse.

I want to become a nurse, but I'm terribly fearful of hurting or even killing someone. Is this normal, or should I think about another career? I want to enroll in school next summer for my prereq's, but I wonder if I can overcome my fear. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you so much.

I currently work in a factory but wish to take up nursing. I have no qualifications for nursing. Would I be able to train while working? I can't afford to drop out of work because of my mortgage. Can I take classes locally?

Does anyone have good advice about this subject:What do you do when a nurse sabotages others in subtle ways just to make herself/himself look like a better practitioner?
