Did anyone watch the premiere of Jada Pinkett Smith's new show Hawthorne on TNT last Tuesday night? I was looking forward to it being more realistic than Nurse Jackie, but there are still some stereotypes (male nurse who wishes he was a doctor, nurse who does sexual favors for her patients). What did you guys think?

I am a 28 year who just got accepted into a nursing program in Louisiana. I was arrested for misdemeanor theft in 2001. Due to my lack of knowledge on being arrested I didn't know that when I didn't receive a subpoena for court that I would have an attachment on me. I thought the case was closed. Just curious what tips you would give to a loved one.

I have been an RN for one year, working in a very busy, high acuity ED outside of Washington DC. I already have PALS and ACLS, and am going back to school to obtain my BSN. Once that is complete I am going to sit for my CEN exam.
I really enjoy ED nursing, but am beginning to think of my long-term goals as well. I [...]
